
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The third edition of the world’s most-attended tech show, LEAP, successfully concluded with momentous investments and significant numbers.
The economic impact of LEAP 2024 in Riyadh reached $500 million with total investments estimated at $13.4 billion, according to a recent statement.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a mega investment of $5.3 billion, followed by Datavolt which plans to invest $5 billion, and the global technology company IBM which revealed its $250 million global software lab in Saudi Arabia.
ServiceNow also unveiled plans to invest $500 million, while Dell Technologies announced its plans to open a manufacturing and order fulfillment center in the Kingdom.
Several global giants participated in LEAP 2024, notably Alibaba Cloud, Zoom, Nokia, Lenovo, Adobe, EY, Huawei, Microsoft, and Ericsson.
Around 660 startups, 1,800 exhibitors, and over 1,600 investors participated in LEAP 2024 which was held on a total area of 151,116 square meters.
Moreover, LEAP welcomed more than 215,000 visitors over three years, surpassing global events such as CES, Web Summit, and MWC.
