
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) participated in a conversation on the future of mobility transformation and sustainability at a forum held by the International Federation of Automobiles (FIA) and Formula E ahead of the Tokyo E-Prix.
The PIF’s sponsorships serve as a platform that creates a meaningful engagement with the fund’s stakeholders, Alanoud Althonayan, Head of Sponsorships and Events at PIF, said in an interview with the PIF.
Althonayan emphasized the pivotal role of PIF’s sponsorships in providing opportunities for the communities that the fund serves and delivering the brands and business objectives in the best way.
She elaborated that the sovereign fund focuses on four main pillars in its sponsorships: inclusivity, sustainability, youth, and technology.
Commenting on the E360 partnership, Althonayan said: “Electric 360 is a very unique partnership. It is a first-of-its-kind where we are creating a partnership across all of the three properties; Formula E, Extreme E, and E1, where we actually bring together the three series and create this concept that focuses on thought leadership by bringing together leading industry experts to work on evolving the future of electric mobility.”
Furthermore, the official affirmed that the PIF focuses on economic and social impact, driven by its belief in the importance and significance of Saudi youth.
She concluded that the PIF focused in the E360 partnership on creating STEM programs that are provided to Saudi youth by bringing the best expertise from the three series to present the best skills and development programs.
