Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Arabian Business Machines (ABM) signed a strategic partnership with Egyptian agritech startup ReNile, a pioneer in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for smart farming, to expand its operations in Saudi Arabia.

The collaboration will focus on local manufacturing of ReNile's advanced IoT systems, tailored specifically for the Saudi market, according to ReNile’s announcement.

The partnership aims to empower Saudi farmers by providing easier access to cutting-edge smart farming technologies, driving the adoption of innovative practices across the Kingdom. By localizing production, ReNile and ABM plan to deliver IoT solutions that cater to the unique needs of Saudi Arabia's agricultural sector, fostering sustainability and efficiency in farming operations.

A key aspect of this collaboration is enhancing customer support in the region. ABM’s established market expertise and ReNile’s technological innovation together promise seamless service and timely assistance for Saudi farmers. This synergy is expected to play a pivotal role in transforming the agricultural landscape.

As demand for sustainable and efficient farming practices grows, integrating IoT technologies offers a clear pathway to improved productivity and optimized resource management. This partnership not only represents a significant step in ReNile’s regional expansion strategy but also highlights the increasing importance of tech-driven collaborations in addressing the evolving challenges of agriculture in the Middle East.

Founded in 2017 by Hazem Eltawab and Ibrahim Elzayat, ReNile provides comprehensive IoT solutions that monitor and manage water, air, and soil quality in various agricultural settings, including aquaponics, hydroponics, poultry systems, fish farming, greenhouses, and traditional farming. Their systems offer real-time analytics, assisting farmers in improving productivity, sustainability, and resource efficiency. Notably, ReNile's solutions have been reported to help save up to 20% in operating costs for their clients.

Arabian Business Machines, established in 1983 and part of the Olayan Saudi Holding Company, specializes in office automation and security solutions within the technology sector. The company offers a range of products, including office automation tools, physical security systems, and smart technology integrations for digital transformation.
