
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) plans to add over 15 million square meters of developed areas in seven industrial cities in 2024.
In its annual report for 2023, the authority revealed its plans to establish more than 360 factories and units in eight industrial cities, in addition to developing the food complex at Jeddah’s second and third industrial cities with an area exceeding 1.4 million square meters.
Modon’s plans for 2024 also include increasing the electricity capacity of five industrial cities.
Furthermore, the authority aims to improve water and wastewater services in 11 industrial cities, in addition to renovating mosques in several industrial cities as part of its efforts to enhance the quality of life.
Modon aims to stay abreast of the developments that the Saudi industrial sector witnesses by implementing various projects and extensive development plans in partnership with the private sector, in line with the National Industrial Strategy and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).
