
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) participated in the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (IEEE ICASSP 2024) as part of its endeavors to advance the data and artificial intelligence (AI) field.
During the event, Sadeen Alharbi, an AI Expert at SDAIA, showcased the importance of using Arabic data specialized in linguistic techniques such as Sada data.
Sada data are Arabic databases that enable developers to develop linguistic techniques and achieve the most extensive open-source data set in local Saudi dialects. It is one of the results of the SauTech project, an AI system that converts speech into text through the voice recognition feature in classical Arabic and local dialects.
The IEEE ICASSP 2024 took place in Seoul from 14 to 19 April and focused on signal processing and its applications. It offered a comprehensive technical program presenting all the latest developments in research and technology in the industry.
