Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Alat, a flagship company of the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), launched two business units to boost sustainable manufacturing capabilities.

In a statement, the company revealed that the electrification and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure units will address the global demand for AI infrastructure and the urgent need to support global energy transition by strengthening electricity grid technology.

The electrification unit will focus on transmission and distribution technologies, in addition to the connection of renewable energy sources to the grid and the latest technologies for gas and hydrogen generation and compression.

The AI infrastructure unit will focus on the technology necessary for AI capabilities and will include network and communications equipment, servers, data center networking equipment, data center storage, industrial edge servers, and Industry 4.0 computing.

This unit will contribute to Alat’s advanced technology goals, along with manufacturing solutions for the company’s customers.

Amit Midha, Global CEO of Alat, affirmed that the new units will make a significant contribution to Alat’s overall strategic goal of developing an advanced and sustainable future for the industry.

It is worth noting that Alat now has nine business units focused on sustainable technology manufacturing.
