The US-based software company ServiceNow opened Riyadh office

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The US-based software company ServiceNow inaugurated its regional headquarters (RHQ) in Riyadh, triggered by the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for technology and innovation.

In a statement, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) revealed that the new office will accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology Haytham AlOhali, along with other senior officials and representatives of the company.

Opening the Riyadh office reflects the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of its customers and partners in the region and enhancing digital skills.

Further, the new office is expected to contribute to creating new jobs and empowering local companies to grow and expand globally.

Mohammed Robayan, Deputy Minister for Technology at MCIT, stated that ServiceNow’s Riyadh headquarters represents a significant move towards realizing Saudi Arabia’s goals of becoming a regional hub for cutting-edge technologies.

"We welcome ServiceNow as a core member of the KSA tech business community and look forward to their contributions in advancing digital innovation, fostering local talent, and driving positive impact across the Kingdom," Robayan said.

For his part, Saif Mashat, Area Vice President for Saudi Arabia at ServiceNow, affirmed that the new office underscores the company’s dedication to the regional ecosystem and its role in facilitating the transformation of the Saudi economy through technology innovation and Al-powered ServiceNow platform.

It is worth noting that ServiceNow announced plans to invest $500 million in Saudi Arabia during LEAP 2024, the world’s most-attended tech show.
