Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Commerce issues 90% of commercial registers immediately to facilitate procedures for starting businesses in the Kingdom, Minister Majid Al-Kassabi stated in a meeting held at the Madinah Chamber.
During the meeting, the minister discussed the challenges facing investors and entrepreneurs and reviewed their insights about enhancing the business environment.
Al-Kassabi revealed that the number of commercial registers in the Madinah Province reached more than 84,000, marking a 33% increase during the past five years.
He further noted that Madinah Province is an attractive destination for commerce, tourism, industry, and investment as it enjoys several prominent opportunities and competitive features.
It is worth noting that the number of existing commercial registers in Saudi Arabia exceeded 1.5 million during the second quarter (Q2) of 2024, signaling a 4.3% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase, according to a recent report released by the ministry.
