Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al Khateeb held a meeting with several investors and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector to discuss means of bolstering the sector.
The meeting was attended by Haifa Mohammed, Vice Minister of Tourism, and Mohamed Naghi, Chairman of the Jeddah Chamber, according to the ministry's statement.
During the meeting, Al Khateeb showcased investment opportunities available in Jeddah and Taif and highlighted the ministry’s efforts to support investors.
The meeting, which came as part of the Saudi Summer 2024, further discussed the Tourism Investment Enablers Program (TIEP) that the ministry launched to enhance the attractiveness of tourism investments within the Kingdom.
Moreover, Al Khateeb showcased key developments in the tourism sector as well as the ministry’s efforts to transform the Kingdom into a global tourism hub, in conjunction with Vision 2030.
