Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Media, represented in the Saudi Media Academy, launched the Media Business Accelerator program, in partnership with eWTP Arabia Capital, Saudi Cloud Computing Company (Alibaba Cloud), and the Fujian Youth Federation.
The program was launched during the China-Saudi Arabia Young Entrepreneurs Seminar under the auspices of the Saudi Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, according to the ministry’s statement.
The accelerator program aims to empower media startups to contribute to the growth of media tech industries and support localizing the media industry by providing resources and mentorship and facilitating the exchange of expertise between the two countries.
It focuses on several areas including the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the media industry, creating and distributing digital content, interactive media and games, and media platforms.
In his speech, Assistant Media Minister Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, said: “We take pride in continuing to enhance and develop the media sector industries, in an era where technology has become an international language, a key characteristic of humanity everywhere, and a necessary tool for understanding the keys to the future.”
He noted that the accelerator program plays a pivotal role in developing joint projects, exchanging talents, and transferring knowledge.
