Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Egypt-based agriculture technology (AgriTech) company Egrobots raised a $1 million funding round to fuel its plans to expand into Saudi Arabia, Founder and CEO Akhlad Alabhar announced.
So far, the company secured $300,000 of the targeted $1 million funding, in addition to collecting $125,000 in awards and grants, Alabhar revealed in an interview with FollowICT.
Through these investments, Egrobots aspires to open a new office in Saudi Arabia by 2025, expanding its network that includes offices in Egypt and the UAE, Alabhar noted.
The CEO further highlighted that Egrobots was named among the top 100 artificial intelligence (AI) companies in Africa, with more than 25,000 users.
