Egrobots eyes $1mn funding to expand in Saudi Arabia

Egyptian AgriTech company Egrobots aspires to collect $1 million to expand in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Egypt-based agriculture technology (AgriTech) company Egrobots raised a $1 million funding round to fuel its plans to expand into Saudi Arabia, Founder and CEO Akhlad Alabhar announced.

So far, the company secured $300,000 of the targeted $1 million funding, in addition to collecting $125,000 in awards and grants, Alabhar revealed in an interview with FollowICT.

Through these investments, Egrobots aspires to open a new office in Saudi Arabia by 2025, expanding its network that includes offices in Egypt and the UAE, Alabhar noted.

The CEO further highlighted that Egrobots was named among the top 100 artificial intelligence (AI) companies in Africa, with more than 25,000 users.

This achievement reflects the company’s commitment to revolutionizing the agricultural sector with AI and creating a sustainable and efficient future for the next generations.

Officially launched in 2023, Egrobots integrates a deep understanding of farm heritage with agronomic expertise and leading-edge technology. It utilizes multi-level high-resolution imagery and revolutionary AI and ML capabilities to provide advisors, suppliers, and growers insights with unsurpassed clarity and indisputable insights.

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi startup Qarah announced closing a million-riyal investment round led by a group of angel investors, reflecting growing investor confidence in its business model and the expanding opportunities within Saudi Arabia’s water services market.As per a recent press release, the new funding round will support the company’s next growth phase, including geographic expansion across Saudi Arabia, onboarding more certified service providers, enhancing the app’s technical infrastructure, and launching targeted marketing campaigns to boost market reach.Founded in early 2025 by Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani, Qarah officially launched in June 2025 with the aim of organizing and modernizing the sale and maintenance of water filtration systems, as well as misting and fogging solutions. The app operates as a smart digital platform that connects customers directly with certified service providers across different regions of the Kingdom.Al-Shahrani noted that Qarah aims to build a dedicated, modern platform that matches the scale and importance of the water services sector in Saudi Arabia. The milestone comes as part of the startup’s rapid growth trajectory, aligning with the Kingdom’s digital transformation goals and the expansion of its service-based economy.
