Cairo – Sharikat Mubasher: Egypt-based Roomz.rent, a user-centric platform for co-rentals, participated in Egypt Proptech Challenge 2024 where it showcased its latest digital solutions in the real estate market.
Mohammed Ayman, CEO and co-founder of Roomz.rent told Sharikat Mubasher that the application seeks to facilitate and digitalize the process of finding a suitable room for rent in a residential unit, with the perfect roommates.
Ayman added that the platform is working on eliminating the gap within the co-renting sector in Egypt, as it offers its clients a fully digitalized renting experience along with secure e-payment solutions for all users whether students or individuals.
The CEO said: “Through our platform, we aim to facilitate and reduce the costs of co-rentals as it can save up to 50% of the rent for two people compared to a unit rented by one person.”
Ayman pointed out that Roomz.rent eyes the age range of 18-35 years for individuals who cannot afford to rent a whole unit as it might cost them about 85% of their monthly pay, especially after renting costs have been significantly higher lately.
Moreover, Ayman assured the platform enables users to manage all sides of the renting process in one place, adding that Roomz.rent is currently focusing on integrating some of the most unique properties in Cairo Governorate.
