Valu, Flash team up to enhance cashless payments in Egypt

Valu signed a cooperation agreement with Flash to enhance cashless payment solutions in Egypt

Cairo - Sharikat Mubasher: Valu, the leading fintech powerhouse in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, signed a cooperation agreement with Flash, a fintech company providing cashless payment solutions, to offer QR code-based payment solutions in Egypt.

This agreement aims to streamline transactions and improve convenience for customers and merchants, the company announced in a statement.

Through this collaboration, Flash's merchants will be able to offer Valu as a payment solution, while Valu customers can conveniently pay for shipments and online orders through Flash.

Motaz Lotfy, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Senior Director at Valu, affirmed that the partnership reflects the company’s dedication to improving digital payment solutions in Egypt and enhancing customers’ cashless payment experiences.

He noted that the partnership aims to help merchants reduce collection costs, and aligns with Valu’s commitment to empowering customers and merchants to have a seamless financial experience.

On her part, Sherine Kabesh, Co-founder of Flash, said that the collaboration with Valu will enable the company to provide advanced and flexible payment plans.

She noted that Flash focuses on helping customer manage their expenses by providing more digital and cashless payment solutions.

Valu provides customizable financing plans for up to 60 months across more than 6,500 points of sale and over 2,000 websites and applications, covering various categories, including home appliances, electronics, residential solar solutions, healthcare, education, travel, and fashion.

SIC, Investindustrial join efforts to accelerate industrial investments in Saudi Arabia
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The SIDF Investment Company (SIC) announced its first international private equity fund investment through a strategic partnership with Investindustrial, one of Europe’s leading investment groups.The partnership is expected to unlock new industrial investments in Saudi Arabia by facilitating the localization of advanced manufacturing and enabling Saudi SMEs to integrate into Investindustrial’s global value chains, SIC revealed in a statement today.The signing ceremony was attended by Sultan Khaled, Vice Chairman of SIC, and Carlo Baldocci, the Ambassador of Italy to Saudi Arabia.Targeting various sectors, including automation, medical devices, and sustainable consumer products, this partnership focuses on enhancing local value creation and driving innovation in the Saudi industrial landscape.Commenting on the partnership, Fahad Al-Naeem, CEO of SIC, said: “This agreement represents a new chapter for SIC.
