The Saudi Minister called all German and non-German tech and AI firms to start operations in Saudi Arabia to make use of its affordable energy prices

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: As part of his participation in the Berlin Global Dialogue 2024, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Saudi Minister of Finance participated in the Berlin Global Dialogue stated that the kingdom is focusing on exploiting its competitive privileges including its AI and energy capabilities in favor of other countries too.

He made his statements during a dialogue session namely: How to Mobilize Private Investments for Innovation and Industrial Transformation, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.

The Saudi Minister called all German and non-German tech and AI firms to start operations in Saudi Arabia to make use of its affordable energy prices as the Kingdom enjoys varied energy resources that vary between renewable energy and fossil fuels.

Al-Jadaan added that the Kingdom plans to achieve 50% renewable energy by 2030, asserting that the country is on the right track to realizing this objective on time.

The minister also asserted that the world can achieve no prosperity without creating a clear environment that supports innovation and tech exchange between countries especially those with low incomes and some of the emerging markets.
