Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The International Franchise Expo - Franchise Market targets attracting investments worth over SAR 1 billion across all sectors, notably oil and food and beverages (F&B), Co-founder of the National Franchises Company Abeer Julaih revealed.
The franchise market in Saudi Arabia is expected to witness significant growth within the upcoming period as recent data from the Council of Saudi Chambers showed that the total investments in the sector are estimated at around SAR 65 billion, Julaih said in an interview with Asharq Al Awsat newspaper.
The Franchise Market event, organized by the National Franchises Company, takes place in Riyadh from 1 to 3 October, with the participation of more than 50 franchises and over 300 exhibitors.
Julaih noted that participants offer discounts of up to 90% to reduce investment costs for entrepreneurs.
She further clarified that the expo offers investment opportunities starting from SAR 300,000 to SAR 200 million to suit small and large investors.
The Franchise Market serves as a platform that gathers the strongest investment opportunities from brands that grant franchise rights.
It aims to spread the culture of franchising and highlight its importance in supporting the local economy, in addition to providing an opportunity for brand owners to expand and grow beyond the region.
