Jeel, Eastnets partner to strengthen Saudi financial ecosystem

Jeel signs agreement with Eastnets to integrate advanced financial crime protection solutions into its cloud platform

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Jeel, the digital innovation arm of Riyad Bank, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eastnets, a leading global provider of anti-financial crime solutions.

This collaboration enhances Jeel's cloud platform with Eastnets' advanced financial crime protection solutions, further supporting the security and reliability of Saudi Arabia's financial sector, as per a joint press release.

The partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation efforts under Vision 2030, emphasising technological progress and strengthening the country’s financial infrastructure. Leveraging Eastnets' expertise, the agreement reflects a shared commitment to further strengthening the region's financial resilience and tackling emerging threats.

At the signing ceremony held at Jeel’s Riyadh headquarters, both companies expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration’s potential impact.

Amer Rajkhan, CEO of Jeel highlighted the importance of the partnership: “This Memorandum of Understanding marks a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionize our open platform. By partnering with [Eastnets], we're strategically expanding our digital platform with cutting-edge anti-fraud capabilities. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our unwavering commitment to delivering secure, innovative solutions that exceed industry benchmarks and ensure the utmost protection for our customers.”

Mohammed AlAwami, Eastnets’ Country Director, shared a similar sentiment, adding, “We are pleased to collaborate with Jeel on this important initiative. By combining our expertise, we can ensure Saudi Arabia’s financial services sector continues to remain resilient against the growing global threat of financial crime, supporting the region’s long-term security and growth.”

The MoU marks the start of a close collaboration between Jeel and Eastnets, aimed at seamlessly integrating Eastnets' solutions into Jeel’s open platform.

Together, Jeel and Eastnets are well-positioned to deliver security solutions tailored to the specific needs of the Kingdom’s financial services sector.

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Energy signed a Power Supply and Implementation Agreement with Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), to deliver the power infrastructure required across the Expo 2030 Riyadh site.The agreement was signed by Khalid AlGhamdi, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Energy, and Talal Al-Marri, Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2030 Riyadh, according to the official statement,The deal aims to establish the electrical infrastructure required to meet the power demands of Expo 2030 Riyadh. This includes the construction of a bulk supply point, three primary substations, and all associated transmission and distribution infrastructure.Leading Saudi companies, including Alfanar, Haif Company, Trading and Development Partnership, and Al-Babtain Power & Telecom Company, will support the execution of these worksAlGhamdi highlighted that the agreement reflects the critical role of Saudi Energy in supporting major national projects by developing a reliable and highly efficient power infrastructure.He emphasized that Saudi Energy will deploy its capabilities and expertise to execute Expo 2030 Riyadh’s electric supply requirements to the highest standards of quality and operational performance, supporting the readiness of this global event and aligning with the Kingdom’s development goals.For his part, Al-Marri said: “The agreement marks another important milestone, reflecting the accelerated progress across the various workstreams underway on site and reinforcing its readiness in line with the established delivery schedule.”He noted that the partnership with leading Saudi national companies reflects confidence in local capabilities and expertise, and their ability to deliver projects of this scale and ambition in line with the highest technical and operational standards. Moreover, the agreement marks a significant step toward securing the critical utility requirements of Expo 2030 Riyadh and enabling the timely development and successful opening of the event.
