Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Around 18 French companies specializing in green buildings are currently in negotiations in Saudi Arabia to establish alliances with local entities and open regional headquarters (RHQ) in the Kingdom as stated by the commercial business center at the French Embassy in Riyadh to Al Eqtisadiah.
The center pointed out that about 40 French companies are planning to land their headquarters in the Kingdom and inject investments into multiple business sectors, adding that 150 French companies established RHQs in Saudi Arabia.
According to the center, 160 French companies established businesses in the Kingdom, which contributed to creating 13,500 jobs by the end of last March.
This comes in parallel with the 14th Saudi Green Building Forum (SGBF), taking place from 6th to 8th October 2024, under the patronage of Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Saudi Arabia.
Building on the achievements of last year’s event, which attracted over 500 visitors, 50 speakers, and 18 sessions, this year’s forum aims to further amplify the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainability and green initiatives.
The SGBF continues to be a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation, driving the Kingdom’s ambitious sustainability agenda and shaping the future of green building and urban development in the region.
