Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: The 44th edition of GITEX Global, the world’s largest tech and startup event, officially kicked off today in Dubai, with the participation of more than 6,500 global tech firms and over 400 government entities.
Running until 18 October, the event is expected to welcome over 65,500 C-level and director attendees and more than 200,000 trade buyers from over 180 countries.
It gathers tech enterprises, governments, investors, experts, startups, and academic institutions from around the globe.
With the theme ‘Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy,’ this five-day event aims to redefine the global digital economy and artificial intelligence (AI) landscape.
GITEX Global 2024, which takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), pays special attention to AI as the most common embodiment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and its transformative impact across various sectors.
Moreover, the event will explore the latest investment trends that are reshaping global wealth, showcase use cases in AI that are revolutionizing industries, and discover innovative cybersecurity strategies and the future of data management and infrastructure.
