Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: PiP World, a Web3 gaming and EdTech ecosystem, announced closing a $10 million seed funding round led by Exinity.
This investment marks a significant milestone in PiP World’s mission to bridge the global financial literacy gap, especially in the UAE, where the literacy rate is 30.7%, falling below the global average, according to a press release.
With the support of Exinity, PiP World is leveraging video games, educational tools, and Web3 technology to create an innovative platform aimed at enhancing financial literacy worldwide.
The startup, based in the UAE, offers key products like PiP Trader, a game that simulates trading strategies; PiP Academy, a gamified app designed to simplify financial concepts; and StockRise, the leading stock trading simulator on Roblox, all integrated within PiP World’s ecosystem.
On this occasion, Saad Naja, PiP World CEO and co-founder said: “This funding will allow us to scale our solutions and reach more users globally, particularly in emerging markets where access to financial tools and education is limited. Our mission is to equip individuals with the financial knowledge and skills needed to navigate today’s complex economic and financial landscapes. This partnership with Exinity brings us closer to realizing that goal.”
Lex Webster, Exinity’s managing partner, added: “By combining our advanced financial and trading technologies with PiP World’s immersive gaming and learning experience, we are driving a transformative change in how financial literacy is understood and achieved.”
