SIDB eyes partnering with all Saudi financing entities to support SMEs

The Riyadh-based Smart Interaction for Digital Brokerage aims to partner with almost all Saudi financing entities to support SMEs

Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher:  Saudi Arabia’s Smart Interaction for Digital Brokerage (SIDB) plans to partner with almost all financing entities in Saudi Arabia to provide all financing products to foster small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom, Product and Marketing Manager Yousef Faden told Sharikat Mubasher.

On the sidelines of Biban 2024, Faden clarified that SIDB targets linking finance seekers, notably SMEs, with financiers to help them get the best financing offers.

SIDB offers a full suite of financial solutions to help customers manage their cashflows and maximize their profits by assisting them in getting the funds they need to grow and thrive.

It launched the Qardi Platform for Digital Brokerage to support bridging the SME finance gap in the marketplace as part of its mission to provide business owners with an innovative, fully automated, and simplified fintech solution to sustain and grow their businesses.

Biban 2024, the flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, takes place in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November with the participation of more than 1,350 local and international exhibitors, over 250 speakers, and more than 150 enablement entities from around the world.

It focuses on empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Saudi Arabia for local and international entrepreneurs through nine doors: Enablement Door, Fast-growing Enterprises Door, Funding and Investment Door, Startup Door, Innovation Door, E-commerce Door, Franchise Door, Market Door, and Start Door.

Saudi Energy to deliver power infrastructure to Expo 2030 Riyadh site
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Energy signed a Power Supply and Implementation Agreement with Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), to deliver the power infrastructure required across the Expo 2030 Riyadh site.The agreement was signed by Khalid AlGhamdi, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Energy, and Talal Al-Marri, Chief Executive Officer of Expo 2030 Riyadh, according to the official statement,The deal aims to establish the electrical infrastructure required to meet the power demands of Expo 2030 Riyadh. This includes the construction of a bulk supply point, three primary substations, and all associated transmission and distribution infrastructure.Leading Saudi companies, including Alfanar, Haif Company, Trading and Development Partnership, and Al-Babtain Power & Telecom Company, will support the execution of these worksAlGhamdi highlighted that the agreement reflects the critical role of Saudi Energy in supporting major national projects by developing a reliable and highly efficient power infrastructure.He emphasized that Saudi Energy will deploy its capabilities and expertise to execute Expo 2030 Riyadh’s electric supply requirements to the highest standards of quality and operational performance, supporting the readiness of this global event and aligning with the Kingdom’s development goals.For his part, Al-Marri said: “The agreement marks another important milestone, reflecting the accelerated progress across the various workstreams underway on site and reinforcing its readiness in line with the established delivery schedule.”He noted that the partnership with leading Saudi national companies reflects confidence in local capabilities and expertise, and their ability to deliver projects of this scale and ambition in line with the highest technical and operational standards. Moreover, the agreement marks a significant step toward securing the critical utility requirements of Expo 2030 Riyadh and enabling the timely development and successful opening of the event.
