Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman formed the Higher Commission for Hosting the 2034 World Cup, following FIFA’s announcement to appoint the Kingdom as the host of FIFA World Cup 2034.
The commission aims to ensure the Kingdom’s readiness to host FIFA World Cup 20234 to the highest standards, providing exceptional experiences for players and fans from all over the world, accordign to the commission's official website.
It will oversee the planning, execution, and follow-up for hosting the event and align all related efforts with national strategies while strengthening financial planning and applying global best practices.
Further, the commission will focus on developing premier facilities and accommodations to meet diverse visitor needs, prioritizing sustainability and environmental protection.
The Higher Commission also targets maximizing legacy and economic impact while leveraging infrastructure, facilities, and human capital, in addition to showcasing the Kingdom’s efforts in hosting and highlighting its achievements.
