Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health celebrated being honored by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) for achieving the highest scores in Operational Excellence (OE) of the National Data Index (NDI), according to the official Ministry account on X.com.
Launched by SDAIA, the National Data Index (NDI), a dynamic and result-oriented monitoring and evaluation index was established to assess the productivity and track the progress of government entities concerning the Maturity of the Data Management (DM) practices, Compliance to Data Management and Personal Data Protection (DM and PDP) Standards, and Operational Excellence (OE). The NDI is specifically built to satisfy the data ecosystem requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) is the competent authority in the Kingdom concerned with data and AI including big data. SDAIA is also the national reference in all matters related to the organization, development, and handling of data and AI; in addition, it has the original competence in all matters related to operation, research, and innovation in the field of data and AI.
