Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi ministry of industry and mineral resources signed an agreement with Qassim University aiming to provide support to all talents within the mining and industry sectors.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the signing event was witnessed by Abdullah Al Ahmari, Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, President of Qassim University, in attendance of several senior officials from both sides.
This comes as part of the Innovative Industrial and Mining Products Program, inaugurated by the Industry Ministry on Sunday which is described as a significant undertaking to enhance developments and support the digital transformation of these sectors.
This program is part of the ministry’s broader strategy to boost industrial investment and foster a more attractive investment environment. It offers three key benefits: promoting acquisitions within the industrial sector, providing liquidity to industrial companies, and presenting suitable investment opportunities for potential investors.
The signed agreement targets translating ideas into innovative industrial products, offering specialized strategic and technical consultancies, in addition to linking innovators with investors and supportive entities as well as enhancing integration between academic, industrial and mining sectors altogether.
