Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Commercial registrations in the e-commerce sector in Saudi Arabia rose by 10% by the end of Q4 2024, with a total of 40,953 registrations issued, compared to 37,481 registrations by the end of Q4 2023.

Makkah followed with 10,314 registrations, then the Eastern Province with 6,488 registrations, Madinah with 1,952 registrations, and Qassim with 1,374 registrations.

Meanwhile, commercial registrations in the financial technology (fintech) sector saw a 12% increase, with 3,152 registrations issued in Q4 2024, compared to 2,795 registrations during the same period in 2023.

The top five regions for fintech registrations were Riyadh, Makkah, the Eastern Province, Madinah, and Qassim.
