Lucid Motors became the first global automotive manufacturing company to join the 'Made in Saudi' program

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Lucid Motors, the global manufacturer of electric vehicles (EV), joined the ‘Made in Saudi’ program, earning the right to use the ‘Made in Saudi’ logo on its products as a symbol of quality, excellence, and customer trust.

This milestone makes Lucid Motors the first global automotive manufacturing company to join the ‘Made in Saudi’ program.

In a statement, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef affirmed that this step represents a strong push to enhance the image of the national industry and attract investments and global companies, which consolidates the Kingdom’s position as a global center for innovative manufacturing.

He noted that Lucid’s participation in the program underscores the Kingdom’s strategic transformation toward creating a fully integrated electric vehicle manufacturing ecosystem.

Launched in 2021, the ‘Made in Saudi’ program is a National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) initiative led by the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) that aims to help local businesses grow by encouraging local consumers to buy more locally made products and helping businesses increase their exports to priority markets.

Under one unified brand, the program brings significant opportunities for businesses to expand their reach and promote their products domestically and globally.
