400 participants join SDAIA’s AI Hackathon for Optimizing Productivity

SDAIA's AI Hackathon for Optimizing Productivity in the Public and Private Sectors kicked off today with the participation of 90 teams

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The AI Hackathon for Optimizing Productivity in the Public and Private Sectors (Injaz Hackathon), organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), kicked off today with the participation of 400 participants, according to a recent statement by the authority.

Throughout three days, the hackathon will provide valuable opportunities for innovators and experts to explore how AI can drive efficiency, accelerate progress, and minimize resource waste across various fields.

The authority organizes the hackathon in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Expenditure Efficiency and Projects Authority (EXPRO), the National Center for Government Resources Systems (NCGR), the Digital Government Authority, and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).

Injaz Hackathon aims to foster innovation in the field of AI, develop effective and applicable solutions, strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors, and raise the community’s awareness about the importance of AI in improving productivity.

It provides participants with an environment to nurture creativity and develop AI-based solutions that enhance productivity in both public and private sectors, in addition to offering access to prototypes that have a direct impact on optimizing processes, saving time, and reducing costs.

Moreover, the hackathon targets AI engineers, programmers, and individuals interested in improving and increasing productivity, providing a prize pool of SAR 1.5 million for winners.
