United Cement Industrial Company to focus on major projects in Makkah and beyond

Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Mohammad D.Almatrafi, CEO of the United Cement Industrial Company  (UCIC) told Sharikat Mubasher that the company aims to secure a significant share in major projects related to the 2034 World Cup, which will be organized in the Kingdom.

On the sidelines of the ongoing Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2025, taking place in Riyadh from 14 to 16 January, Almatrafi added that the UCIC is based in Jeddah with branches in the western and southern regions. He further noted that the company will focus on serving major projects in the coming phase, particularly the projects of the Holy Mosques in the Makkah region.

Almatrafi stated that this is the fourth time the company has taken part in the FMF, emphasizing that the conference provides a rare opportunity to connect with several companies involved in mining and geological studies related to raw materials.

The United Cement Industrial is a Saudi Company established in 2013 with a production capacity of 2 million tons of cement per year.

Running until 16 January, FMF 2025 features an exceptional lineup of speakers and panelists who will share their knowledge, insight, and actionable solutions to critical mineral problems. It aims to advance local value creation through practical strategies that drive sustainable growth, focusing on enhancing and promoting investments.

The agenda of FMF 2025 features a new Thought Leadership Roundtable; a unique gathering of ministers, CEOs, and experts proposing solutions to challenges including investment, infrastructure, value addition, and processing hub creation.
