Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef announced the launch of the FMF Young Mining Professionals Program during the fourth edition of the Future Mineral Forum (FMF).
The Young Mining Professionals Program aims to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders in the mining industry, serving as a gateway to developing professional pathways, and contributing to shaping the future of this promising sector.
One of the key objectives of the program is to provide a platform for young people to expand their knowledge, and inspire mining professionals from various academic and professional backgrounds.
The Young Mining Professionals Program further aims to help young professionals develop vital skills and build a network of relationships with industry experts and colleagues.
It is worth mentioning that the ministry also launched the Mining Innovation Studio during the FMF 2025 to attract global talent and accelerate cutting-edge technology in the sector.
The FMF 2025, the world’s premier minerals gathering, takes place in Riyadh from 14 to 16 January under the theme ‘Year of Impact’, featuring 250 influential speakers, including CEOs of the top 11 global mining companies and other industry leaders.
It aims to enable the development of resilient and responsible minerals and metals industries in Africa, West and Central Asia, and other host countries by attracting investment, deploying digital and other advanced technologies, and applying high standards for sustainability performance.
