Kottouf & Sweet Trading grants first franchise in US

Kottouf & Sweet Trading Company became the first Saudi brand to gran franchises in the US

Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Kottouf & Sweet Trading Company, a leading Saudi confectionery brand, signed a franchise agreement in the US, becoming the first Saudi brand to grant franchises in the US market, Founder Ahmed Al-Tamimi announced.

In an interview with Sharikat Mubasher on the sidelines of the Saudi Franchise Expo 2025, Al-Tamimi revealed that the company operates six branches in Iraq, with a strong presence in Egypt, Jordan, and GCC countries.

He affirmed that Kottouf & Sweet is the fastest-growing brand in the Kingdom, as its network has reached  200 branches in less than five years.

Al-Tamimi further stated that franchising system is a key enabler for brands to grow and expand rapidly, emphasizing the importance of providing various facilities for franchisees.

Founded in 2015, Kottouf & Sweet is a retail and wholesale confectionary provider, owning four factories in Saudi Arabia and another one in the UAE.

The Saudi Franchise Expo 2025 took place in Riyadh from 27 to 29 January, serving as a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs and investors to enter the world of franchising, giving them the chance to meet and network with leading franchisors and discover the latest investment opportunities across various sectors. It featured a comprehensive educational program, including workshops and training seminars covering all aspects of franchising.

It is worth noting that Sharikat Mubasher participated in the Saudi Franchise Expo 2025 as a Media Sponsor.
