Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: The multinational telecommunications and information technology (IT) company Nokia offers a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the business sector and communication firms, Head of Marketing for Middle East and Africa Anis Sinno stated in an interview with Sharikat Mubasher.

Speaking on the sidelines of LEAP 2025, Sinno highlighted Nokia’s focus on establishing wired and wireless mobile networks, emphasizing the pivotal role of artificial intelligence (AI) in building secure, high-speed networks and optimizing operators’ business operations.

He also noted that Nokia provides a range of software and applications designed to enhance network management seamlessly and securely.

LEAP 2025 convenes from 9 to 12 February in Riyadh, with the participation of over 1,800 exhibitors, more than 1,000 speakers, and over 680 startups. It brings together global leaders from the public and private sectors, top innovators, and key stakeholders in tech investment.

Under the theme ‘Into New Worlds,’ this four-day event aims to showcase the latest innovations and facilitate knowledge exchange, expanding business networking and investment opportunities in the tech sector.

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Riyadh-based investment company Merak Capital invested $1.2 million in the Saudi fintech company, Bynow, to advance B2B payment solutions in Saudi Arabia.Bynow will use the investment to accelerate product development, expand its B2B payment offerings, and strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region, a recent statement revealed.This investment reflects Merak Capital’s dedication to supporting fintech platforms that become essential to business operations rather than supporting tools.Abdulelah Alsharif, Vice President of Venture Capital at Merak Capital, said: “We believe Bynow has the potential to become an integral part of how businesses operate in an increasingly digital economy, and we are proud to support them on this journey.”For his part, Rami Suliman, CEO of Bynow, stated that Merak Capital’s investment is a testament to the company’s mission to modernize B2B payments in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.“With Merak as our partner, we’ll accelerate our roadmap from deferred payments to a full financial operating system for businesses: embedded credit, AR/AP automation, and seamless integrations that turn finance workflows into predictable liquidity and real-time visibility.
