
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources opened applications for the second edition of its Growth Youth Program (GYP), a 12-month specialized initiative designed to empower Saudi graduates and cultivate national talent.
According to the ministry’s recent statement, applications will remain open until 8 May 2025.
The Growth Youth Program aims to equip participants with advanced skills through qualitative training, preparing them for the Saudi labor market and global competitiveness.
Covering three main tracks: industry, mining, and empowerment, the program provides comprehensive training programs both within and outside the Kingdom, in collaboration with leading universities and training institutions, to enhance participants’ professional expertise and global exposure.
Participants will have the opportunity to expand their global expertise and stay abreast of leading-edge practices. They will also be registered in the General Organization for Social Insurance.
Moreover, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 2023 or later, in these majors: engineering, geology and earth sciences, geographic Information Systems (GIS), computer science, and business management administration.
The ministry will review applications from 11 to 16 May, with results set to be announced on 8 June. Selected participants will begin the program on 22 June.
