
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Vego Group, a leading Saudi provider of electric cars and motorcycles, plans to launch the first specialized electric motorcycle manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia early next year, according to Public Relations Manager Maged Soleis.
In its first phase, this 100% Saudi-made facility is projected to manufacture 5,000 motorcycles annually, with plans to raise its capacity to 10,000 motorcycles annually, Soleis stated in an interview with Al Eqtisadiah newspaper on the sidelines of the Saudi Warehousing and Logistics Expo.
Vego Group’s growth strategy includes installing 500 electric motorcycle charging stations across Riyadh over the next two months, with future expansion to include enhancing electric vehicles (EVs) infrastructure.
To enhance the electric mobility across the Kingdom, the company follows a dual-track approach, which focuses on building a specialized infrastructure of electric motorcycles and expanding the EV infrastructure.
