
Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Several Arab startups have emerged among the winners of the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, standing out from over 120 applicants representing 17 countries. After a competitive selection and pitch process, 10 startups were chosen for the final cohort, five of them based in the UAE, as per Presight’s announcement on LinkedIn.
The final pitch event, held on 2–3 June, featured a jury panel of global tech and academic leaders, including executives from Microsoft, MBZUAI, and Stanford-affiliated StartX.
Among the standout Arab winners is Derq, a UAE- and US-based startup using AI to improve road safety through real-time traffic system analysis. Also selected was zypl.ai, with roots in the UAE and Tajikistan, which delivers enterprise AI solutions to banks for smarter fraud detection and risk management.
Vulcan, another UAE-based company, is developing GenAI safety and compliance tools tailored for both enterprise and government use. Meanwhile, NodeShift, operating out of the UAE and USA, focuses on sovereign AI cloud platforms that simplify AI model deployment.
Rounding out the Arab winners is Cobi, also based in the UAE and USA, offering AI-powered business intelligence that helps companies refine products and boost customer engagement.
These UAE-based startups represent the region’s growing influence in the global AI space, with applications spanning fintech, smart cities, and AI infrastructure. The Presight Accelerator, backed by ADX-listed Presight, aims to support high-impact AI ventures aligned with the UAE’s innovation ecosystem.
