Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Aleph Hospitality, the Middle East and Africa’s largest independent hotel management company, entered the Makkah market through a new management deal with Diyar Al Khalidiyah Hotel Services Company.
According to an official press release, the company will manage the 338-room Diyar Al Khalidiya hotel, located on Ibrahim Khalil Street near the Great Mosque and the Abraj Al-Bait Towers.
This marks Aleph’s second property in Saudi Arabia, following the Four Points by Sheraton Jeddah. Negotiations are underway to secure an international brand for the hotel.
Makkah’s hospitality sector is experiencing rapid growth, driven by soaring Hajj and Umrah tourism. Visitor numbers nearly doubled between 2022 and 2023, while spending quadrupled. Industry projections estimate the Hajj tourism market will reach USD 343.55 billion by 2034, as Vision 2030 pushes to accommodate 30 million pilgrims annually.
Aleph executives said the partnership will strengthen operations and enhance guest experiences, aligning with the Kingdom’s broader tourism ambitions.
