
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Six Saudi startups were qualified for the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) 2025 finals, which will be held during Biban 2025, a premier event for entrepreneurs that will take place in Riyadh from 5 to 8 November.
According to a recent official statement, the startups are: SARsatX, a space technology startup specializing in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR); Expanse Cosmos, a provider of in-space transportation and logistics services; ADADK, a startup specializing in air, water, and waste management; iRAMA, an agritech startup specializing in modern technologies for biodynamic agriculture; Thrivve, a mobility-fintech platform redefining vehicle access and ownership for gig workers; and EcoPallets, a startup specializing in palm fronds recycling.
Top 100 projects representing 47 countries were selected for the finals among over 10,300 applicants from more than 169 countries after multiple evaluation phases and a virtual training camp. Participants will compete for cash prizes exceeding $1.5 million in an event that gathers entrepreneurs, investors, and international experts.
Organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), Biban 2025 will host the EWC finals, offering global entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors and venture capital funds, and benefit from training, mentorship, and communication programs to enhance their competitiveness.
