Arab Therapy secures investment from VMS to expand into Saudi Arabia

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Value Makers Studio (VMS) announced its strategic investment in Arab Therapy, a global psychological support and online therapy provider, to accelerate the platform’s expansion into Saudi Arabia.

This partnership, announced during the Global Health Exhibition 2025, will enable Arab Therapy to strengthen its local infrastructure and enhance its digital healthcare operations in Saudi Arabia, according to a recent press release.

During the exhibition, Arab Therapy officially announced its entry into the Saudi market after acquiring a telemedicine license from the Saudi Ministry of Health.

This milestone reflects Arab Therapy’s commitment to advancing digital mental health and enhancing quality of life in alignment with Vision 2030.

Moataz Abu Anq, Founder and CEO of VMS, said: “At VMS, we believe that innovation in the healthcare sector must include mental health as an essential part of overall well-being. Our partnership with Arab Therapy aligns with this vision and allows us to contribute to building a holistic digital ecosystem that supports individuals and creates a real, positive impact in society.”

In turn, Tareq Dalbah, Founder and CEO of Arab Therapy, commented: “This investment from VMS marks a strategic milestone in Arab Therapy’s journey toward expanding into Saudi Arabia. We are building a comprehensive digital ecosystem that enables individuals and organizations to access professional psychological support easily and confidentially, creating a positive and sustainable impact on society.”

Arab Therapy, originally founded in Germany, will leverage VMS’s expertise to deliver trusted, high-quality digital mental health services tailored to the needs of the Saudi community. Through this collaboration, the company will launch the first Arabic AI-powered mental health assistant, designed to offer instant, safe, and personalized psychological support in Arabic.

Moreover, the partnership underscores Arab Therapy’s mission to establish a comprehensive digital mental health ecosystem in Saudi Arabia that combines professional care, technological innovation, and cross-sector integration in education, healthcare, and corporate environments.

JLL acquires minority stake in PIF-owned FMTECH
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and global real estate services firm JLL announced that JLL will acquire a significant minority stake in Saudi Facility Management Company (FMTECH), while PIF will retain a majority holding.According to an official joint press release, the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions.Following the transaction, FMTECH is expected to benefit from JLL’s global operating expertise, digital facilities management platforms, and international network, supporting service quality, operational efficiency, and transparency across its delivery model. The move is also intended to accelerate knowledge transfer and the localization of advanced technologies within the Saudi facilities management sector.Established by PIF in 2023, FMTECH operates as a national integrated facilities management platform, serving PIF portfolio companies alongside public and private sector clients across the Kingdom. The investment is set to deepen JLL’s presence in Saudi Arabia and builds on its existing partnership with PIF.Saad Alkroud, Head of Local Real Estate Investment at PIF, highlighted that the deal aligns with PIF’s real estate strategy and its broader mandate to drive economic diversification and urban development.Meanwhile, Neil Murray, CEO of Real Estate Management Services at JLL, noted that the partnership combines global operational capabilities with strong local market insight to meet growing demand in Saudi Arabia’s expanding real estate and infrastructure landscape.
