Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: SIRC Group announced signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hydrogen Utopia International to collaborate on converting non-recyclable plastic waste into sustainable aviation fuel and low-carbon hydrocarbon products.
As per SIRC Group’s announcement on X.com, the agreement was signed on the sidelines of IFAT Saudi Arabia 2026 in Riyadh, under the patronage of Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
The partnership focuses on utilizing Plasma Enhanced Melter technology to process plastic waste that cannot be recycled, producing high-purity synthetic gas. This output will be combined with hydrogen to manufacture sustainable aviation fuel and other low-carbon products, supporting emissions reduction efforts and advancing circular energy solutions in Saudi Arabia.
Under the agreement, Hydrogen Utopia International will provide the technology and engineering design, while SIRC Group will act as the national partner supporting implementation in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
The agreement was announced during IFAT Saudi Arabia 2026, one of the Kingdom’s largest international exhibitions dedicated to environmental technologies, waste management, and sustainability. The event opened on 26 January 2026 in Riyadh and runs until 28 January 2026, bringing together global companies, manufacturers, and experts in environmental solutions.
