Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Smartlox, an Australia-based leader in hardware-enabled digital safety technology, announced its expansion into Saudi Arabia in partnership with AstroLabs, the leading business expansion platform in the GCC.
This expansion will enable Smartlox to serve the Kingdom's industrial and infrastructure sectors with next-generation safety and access control solutions, according to the official statement.
Smartlox will focus on deploying hardware-enabled solutions tailored to heavy industries, providing high-level security, operational control, and continuous data insight.
Brent Wijnberg, Founder and CEO of Smartlox, said: “We are here to support the digital-first mindset that is at the heart of Vision 2030, ensuring that as Saudi Arabia grows, it does so with the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.”
For his part, Fouad Fattal, Vice President for Commercial at AstroLabs, stated that Smartlox’s expansion comes at a time when the Saudi market is entering a new phase of maturity. “With its advanced smart access control technologies, Smartlox is well-positioned to support this evolution by delivering the scalability, data visibility, and seamless access management that today’s mega projects increasingly require.”
Smartlox aims to modernize industrial safety protocols across the Kingdom's heavy industry sectors by replacing traditional, manual key management with Bluetooth-enabled hardware and digital platforms.
The company also plans to partner with major infrastructure developers, engage with industrial safety stakeholders, and deliver tailored solutions that address the unique security needs of government entities and businesses requiring sophisticated access control solutions.
Smartlox replaces antiquated, manual workflows with its Smart Access Control and Digital Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) platforms, transforming complex safety mandates into intuitive, user-led digital experiences. Thereby, it eliminates operational friction, enhances site-wide compliance, and bridges the gap between rigorous security and operational efficiency.
