Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Udora, the global gifting platform formerly known as Flowwow, announced it has raised $10 million in a private funding round and unveiled its new brand as part of a broader expansion strategy.
As per a recent press release, the company plans to use the funds to grow in new markets, with a launch in Saudi Arabia scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. The expansion will include a wider product range, stronger local adaptation, and new technology features, including AI-powered personalization.
Founded in 2014 and based in Dubai, Udora connects customers with local florists, bakeries, and artisan businesses across more than 50 markets and 1,500 cities. The platform has already built a solid presence in the UAE, where it holds a 6% share of the online gifting market.
Udora’s model focuses on supporting small and medium-sized businesses by giving them access to digital tools, marketing support, and a ready customer base. All orders on the platform are fulfilled by local sellers, helping smaller businesses reach more customers without building their own online systems.
The company says its growth aligns with regional efforts to strengthen the digital economy and support SMEs. With demand for online gifting rising across the GCC, Udora is positioning itself to scale its model while maintaining a strong focus on local communities.
