Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, a PIF company delivering full-stack artificial intelligence capabilities globally, and Applied Intuition announced a strategic collaboration to deploy thousands of autonomous trucks across Saudi Arabia’s key logistics corridors by 2030.
Announced on the sidelines of the LEAP 2026 conference, the initiative aims to establish what the companies describe as the world’s largest autonomous trucking network, making it the first major program under HUMAIN’s physical AI strategy.
The companies will use Applied Intuition’s Self-Driving System (SDS), Vehicle OS and other vehicle intelligence technologies to support autonomous trucking across the Kingdom. The technology is designed to operate in diverse environments and will be adapted to Saudi Arabia’s extreme heat, blowing sand and long-haul routes.
The initial deployment will focus on freight corridors connecting ports, industrial cities and distribution hubs, with the potential to enable continuous and more efficient goods movement.
Future phases will explore physical AI applications in robotaxis, ports, mining and other industries.
Applied Intuition will also expand its Riyadh presence and build a local team to support the program, creating technical capabilities and employment opportunities in the Kingdom.
The fifth edition of LEAP 2026 runs from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 global speakers and experts, 1,800 technology companies, 600 startups and 1,900 investors and venture capital representatives, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing role as a hub for technology and innovation.
The Conference is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Tahaluf, backed by Informa and the Events Investment Fund.
