
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Careem, the multi-service application, stated that its car availability at the time of booking rose to 96% in the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, the company stated in a press release.
The average estimated time of arrival (ETA) of the rides declined by 20% to 3 minutes in 2022.
Ahmad Arrabi, the General Manager of Ride-hailing at Careem in KSA, stated that Careem is committed to offer the most reliable transport experience to the Saudis.
“As we continue to expand our Everything App in Saudi Arabia, we endeavor to offer dependable transportation solutions for all aspects of life,” Arrabi said.
“Our pick-up and drop-off locations at airports across Saudi Arabia have saved millions of customers time and hassle, resulting in stress-free journeys to and from the airport,” Arrabi elaborated.
Careem is present at 13 airports in Saudi Arabia, and completed over 430,000 trips to and from Saudi airports in 2022.
It should be noted that Careem has more than 2.5 million registered captains across the region; meanwhile, over SAR 529 million was paid out in earnings to captains in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
On the other side, Creem entered into a partnership with King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC) to offer a seamless travel experience for residents and visitors of KAFD.
