
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Social Development Bank (SDB), the leading provider of financing products, offered development funds amounting SAR 2.3 billion during the third quarter (Q3) of 2023 to foster the Kingdom’s financial inclusion and economic growth, the bank unveiled during a board meeting.
During the meeting of the board of directors for Q3-23, the bank announced that the funds were provided to more than 39,000 entrepreneurs, owners of small-sized enterprises, and citizens benefiting from social services.
The meeting was chaired by Ahmad Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and the Chairman of the board, and was attended by a number of board members.
During the meeting the bank showcased its finance performance for Q3-23, stating that entrepreneurs and owners of micro, medium, and small-sized enterprises (MSMEs) seized the lion’s share of more than SAR 1.2 billion; over 18,000 beneficiaries availed from various supporting services.
Moreover, the SDB will host the annual meeting of directors of EMPRETEC centers from 21 to 22 October, titled "From Geneva to Riyadh," in cooperation with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
