
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Small and Medium Enterprises Bank (SME Bank) signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) to facilitate the provision of appropriate financing, in partnership with the financing and development agencies cooperating with the bank, to finance orders received through “Saudi Made.”
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of SME Bank’s participation in “Saudi Made” exhibition, hosted in Riyadh with the participation of more than 100 national companies.
The exhibition takes place during the period between 16 to 19 October.
Signing the deal comes along with the bank’s efforts to promote the development of the small and medium enterprises sector in the Kingdom, increase its competitiveness and contribution to the development of the gross domestic product, provide financing solutions with competitive advantages, and enhance confidence in SMEs.
The agreement included referring financing requests received from “Made in Saudi Arabia” to financing agencies cooperating with the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank for the purpose of evaluating them and providing financing support in accordance with the approved financing programs, and studying the challenges facing small and medium enterprises registered in “Saudi Made” to find appropriate financing solutions. Participate in events and workshops held by both parties to promote appropriate services and programs.
Further, the deal aims to increase communication programs to educate business owners about the services and financing solutions provided to the small, medium and micro enterprise sector through many communication activities, in addition to increasing joint cooperation to conduct market studies and opinion polls.
