Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), Al-Maqar Development Company (Almqr), and Beeah Group signed a strategic partnership agreement to establish a limited liability company in Madinah province for sustainable waste management, a recent press release stated.

The company will focus on developing and providing integrated waste management solutions in the Province, from the collection of waste at the source to treatment, recycling, and disposal in the general landfill.

The agreement was inked by Ziyad AlShiha, CEO of SIRC, Majed Alshalhoob, CEO of Almqr, and Khaled Al Huraimel, CEO of Beeah.

The signing ceremony was attended by Faisal Salman Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Province, Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and Fahad Albelaihshi, Secretary of Madinah Province.

As per the agreement, the three parties will join efforts to boost innovation and efficiencies across the waste management value chain, from waste collection to waste treatment and enhanced material recovery.

Furthermore, the partnership targets fostering the circular economy while shaping a cleaner and greener province in alignment with the goals of Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development.

AlShiha affirmed that creating local and global partnerships is a key factor for innovation and investing in circular economy solutions.

“Through this partnership with Almqr and Beeah, we look forward to implementing advanced solutions and leveraging recycling best practices to uncover value across the waste management chain in Madinah,” AlShiha added.

For his part, Al Huraimel commented: “By combining our strengths with SIRC and ALMQR, we look forward to achieving new benchmarks in sustainable waste management, supporting the development of thriving communities, shaping the circular economy, and progressing towards a zero-waste to landfill future in the Province of Madinah.”
