Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia and Italy discussed means of deepening mutual business ties and exploring potential joint investments in the Saudi market, Adolfo Urso, Italian Minister of Industry, stated.
Both nations explored possible partnerships in various fields, notably the automotive, mining, oil and gas, defense, hydrogen, and space sectors, Urso announced in a statement following his meeting with Khalid Al Saalem, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Senior representatives of Pirelli, Maire Tecnimont, and Prysmian attended the meeting.
“Italy and Saudi Arabia are committed to developing a regulatory and industrial framework that favors and accelerates strategic autonomy in the critical raw materials sector,” Urso said.
It is worth mentioning that Urso is visiting Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar as part of the Italian government's strategy to solidify ties with the Gulf countries.
