Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-based Sanabil Investments Company and the multi-stage venture capital firm, 500 Global, unveiled batch six of the Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program including nine startups from Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
A recent statement clarified that the nine startups were selected out of more than 700 applicants from MENA, and focused on developing solutions across various sectors, including fintech, foodtech, SaaS, prop-tech, e-commerce, and legal tech.
The nine startups are: Behja, Blink, Ejari, FIFOplus, Milenow, Nqoodlet, Qanoniah, Reachware, and Socialee.
The Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program provides pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the MENA region with the foundation they need to validate and scale their business regionally and globally.
Amal Dokhan, General Partner at 500 Global MENA, said: “We have been closely working with Batch 6 founders since March 2023 to help them pave their way to success."
She added that around 68 companies have already graduated from the Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator Program since its launch in 2021.
On the other side, Sanabil Spokesperson, commented: “We’re attracting and enabling the brightest minds and best technologies that are improving the lives of people around the world, fortifying the economy and making the world a better place for all.”
The nine startups participated in a Demo Day held on 5 December with the attendance of key stakeholders, including members of the venture capital ecosystem, corporates, and industry professionals.
The 12-week program offers founders one-on-one mentorship with a focus on business strategy development, fundraising, and growth.
