SDAIA: AI, machine learning professions to rise by 40%

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Professions in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning fields are expected to jump by 40% in 2027 while data-related professions are projected to rise by 35%, according to the Saudi Data and ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

In a report titled ‘Professions in The Fields of Data and AI’, SDAIA unveiled the 10 fastest-growing professions in the data and AI fields by 2027, including AI and machine learning specialists, sustainability specialists, business intelligence analysts, information security analysts, fintech engineers, data scientists and analysts, robotics engineers, electrical engineers, agricultural equipment operators, and digital transformation specialists.

The authority further anticipated that AI could contribute to creating diverse professions.

SDAIA is the competent authority in Saudi Arabia concerned with data and AI including big data. It is the national reference in all matters related to the organization, development, and handling of data and AI.
