Riyadh- Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia has a promising and lucrative mining sector that attracts local and global investors, Majid Alghaslan, Chairman and CEO of Front End Limited Company, told Sharikat Mubasher.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2024, Alghaslan affirmed that the energy industry in the Kingdom has the lowest operating cost in the world which in turn will allure local and global investors to tap into and invest in this profitable sector.
He added that the Saudi mining sector abounds with opportunities, backed by the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030.
Regarding using artificial intelligence (AI) in the energy sector, Alghaslan said that Front End Company targets providing brand-new services by harnessing AI and autonomous technologies, in alignment with Vision 2030 which plays a pivotal role in promoting all sectors, notably the mining one.
The official noted that the company focuses mainly on localizing these technologies in the Kingdom, in conjunction with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program’s objectives to develop mining and industry sectors.
Alghaslan clarified that Front End Limited Company provides geophysical and construction services, in addition to AI-based data analysis.
He pointed out that the company teamed up with Saudi giants, such as Aramco and Neom, and recently partnered with global firms, including the US-based TGS Company and Russia’s CRINE Company.
The CEO said that Front End Limited Company aspires to seize massive opportunities to invest in the mining sector.
Moreover, Alghaslan noted that his experience at Aramco qualified him to establish a private company to offer cutting-edge technology services for companies working in energy, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors.
