UAE - Sharikat Mubasher: The UAE-based business travel platform Tumodo secured $35 million in a pre-seed funding round, with participation from angel investors, the company unveiled in a statement.
The investment vehicle will spur Tumodo’s strategy to solidify its presence in the Emirati market, develop its products, and explore new partnership opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market.
Additionally, Tumodo aspires to scale its platform to cover 25 more countries worldwide by 2026.
Stan Klyuy, Chief Commercial Officer of Tumodo, stated that the platform aims to contribute to the MENA business travel market and empower it with advanced technologies.
We help companies set up business processes and optimize the management of travel expenses, enhancing employee productivity and ensuring compliance with travel policies. This allows to reduce the costs on business travel of our clients by 35% on average," Klyuy added.
Founded in 2023, Tumodo is connected to all major distribution channels and global hotel chains and collaborates with over 400 airlines worldwide. It provides customers with over 2 million accommodation options and is integrated with main travel services all over the world.
