Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi National Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan) signed several agreements to promote charitable bids in the housing sector and boost the social contribution to supporting families in need through the Jood Eskan platform.
The agreements were signed during the Real Estate Future Forum (RFF) 2024, in the attendance of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Majed Al Hogail, and other senior officials.
Sakan concluded a one-year agreement with Riyadh Bank and another two-year agreement with Saudi National Bank (SNB) to collect donations through the banks’ applications or the Jood Eskan platform.
Both agreements aimed to raise social responsibility by providing voluntary consultancy services for those benefiting from the Jood Eskan platform.
In addition, Sakan inked a renewable one-year agreement with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) to raise awareness of energy conservation.
General Secretary of Sakan Foundation Abdulaziz Alkaridis applauded the crucial role of both public and private sectors in enhancing the non-profitable housing sector and achieving social security for families in need.
He added that Sakan Foundation’s participation in the RFF 2024 aligned with the foundation’s objectives to provide innovative housing solutions.
The third edition of the RFF 2024 took place in Riyadh from 22 to 24 January with the participation of over 30 countries to discuss the reality and future of the real estate sector, enhance the efficiency of real estate businesses, and utilize industry best practices to pinpoint growth areas.
